Just got my new GT1 on the weekend and it looks absolutely fantastic! Im still waiting to let her rip properly (practise aint til Saturday) but it does sound
tasty at living room volume when Im using it in triode mode rather than pentode.
The amp is a GT1 with customised faceplate (rather than the stock silver faceplate), black snakeskin covering with gold coloured corners n handle hardware, chicken head knobs and a red power light. I also got the guys to up the power from an 80w transformer to a 120w bad boy.
It sits on top of a Matamp Retro 4x12 cab with the same finish as the head (black n gold) with four Celestion G12 K100 speakers making it a 400w 8ohm cab - an absolute filthmonger
The engraving on the front panel is brilliant, so many many thanks to Derek on that one for the awesome detail on the pentagrams and the other engravings also.
