We're in the studio next week recording a BBC Radio 1 introducing session, I'm not sure when it's going to be aired but I'll keep you informed. I think it's going out on Radio 1 in Northern Ireland, but you should be able to stream from other parts of the world. Any ideas how to get a lead sound to jump forward in a band mix when an amp is already working hard and saturating and the front end already presented with an od pedal.
Basically I use a pedal in front of an amp to give me good dirt chords and fuller parts but then I want the volume to jump forward significantly for a lead line but wondering how to make that happen in a single channel single amp setup.

Any band want to release something on one side of a 12" 33rpm vinyl? (CD too, but I'm not really concerned with that)

My band (its slow, heavy rock/doom...guitar is all Matamp!) Catatomic is about done recording what we planned as one side of a 12" record. It'll be self released by us, we've researched all the pressing details and things like that. It'll be done right, and professional. It'll be our first official release.
