<p>What is your experience regarding the volume and overdrive level?</p>

<p>I&#39;m  a little afraid that this amp could have too much clean headroom for me. </p>

<p>I&#39;m searching for an overdriven sound, atm mainly for volume-range for band rehearsals - and small gigs (rock music).</p>

I was looking at some of the archive posts and noticed that the GT4 has 1x 6v6 power valve and 2x 12AX7 pre-amp valves which is the same as the Little Rock. Is
the GT4 point to point? I know the LR is PCB and not turret or tagboard...They seem about the same chasis size too....

			<description><![CDATA[ <p>i have an issue with my matamp. some guitars simply sound too dark. i cant play cleaner or less overdriven tone without mud;</p>

<p>so i get a more dull and lifeless sound. most les paul style guitars sound too dark too. depens a lot on the pickups?</p>

<p>but in some amps, the same guitar did cut through better. i use two v30&#39;s. ive heared they are dark speakers... could other speakers help?</p>

<p>any suggestions? i want more cleans and overdrive without mud.</p>

I recieve my GT1 yesterday. With shaken hands I opened the box and revealed the VOID. I was pleased with the look of it. Very impressive. Well, the faceplate
wasn&#39;t installed as well as it should be. The holes in the faceplate weren&#39;t in the same place as in the amp, causing the faceplate to bend and almost
crack near the holes. I assume that I will get a new faceplate without the holes and then I&#39;ll drill the holes exactly to right places. This... ]]></description>
